The project we established last year at Christ Church has continued to flourish under the leadership of Churchill Joseph and Daniel Austin and now averages 80-90 children coming along every Saturday morning, which really is amazing. Christian Sports Fellowship have also been heavily involved in making the project work and their coaches have made a huge impact on the kids that come along. Today, for example, we had Mr Anand as a guest speaker from CSF. He was formerly a state and inter-state footballer, had become a christian and came along today to share his testimony. He was joined by three German coaches, Marcus, Benny and Alex, who also took part by leading some of the session.
As we look at the coming year, please pray for the leadership team in Chennai, the CSF coaches and, most importantly, the children who come along each week.
